A reimagined mid-century townhouse, this is a place we’ve come to know and love — once owned by friends and now thoughtfully restored with warmth, care, a hint of northern wit, and subtle touches of Woodchip & Magnolia. What was once ordinary has been carefully reworked into something special — calm, characterful, and considered in every detail.

Set in the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere, just moments from Lake Windermere and directly opposite The Glebe, it offers a peaceful base for exploring the lakes, fells, and surrounding countryside, while still enjoying the easy rhythm of village life and the gentle buzz of nearby cafés, bars, and restaurants.

Mornings begin slowly — coffee on the balcony, or behind glass watching the Lake District drizzle, or a quiet start in the infrared sauna with your favourite playlist. Days are spent walking, on the water, or wandering through the village. Evenings bring a softer rhythm — long dinners, time together, or heading out to enjoy Bowness before returning to the calm of the house and the warmth of the sauna.

With off-road parking for three cars and an electric vehicle charger, everything is set up for an easy, considered stay from the moment you arrive.

Set across multiple levels, the house offers generous, well-designed space for groups and families.

Ground Floor

A comfortable double bedroom sits alongside a bathroom with shower, ideal for easy access.
This level also features the 3-person infrared sauna, along with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and access to the outdoor patio and dining area.

Middle Floor

The main living space is bright and open, designed for relaxing and spending time together.

A fully equipped kitchen and open dining area make it easy to cook and gather, while the living room offers a comfortable space to unwind.
Private balconies sit off both the lounge and dining area — perfect for morning coffee or catching the evening sun.

Upper Floor

Upstairs, there are three further bedrooms:

• A main king-size bedroom with private ensuite
• Two twin bedrooms, each with two single beds

There is also an additional family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower.
